Customer Education Specialist

We’re hiring a Customer Education Specialist to build, manage, and scale our customer education programs. This role ensures that training is not optional, but a seamless, engaging, and essential part of the customer journey.

You’ll own both the systems and the content experience behind training—designing workflows, building in-product guidance, and creating high-quality written and video content that helps customers understand what to do, when to do it, and why it matters.

This role is highly execution-focused and requires someone who can quickly learn new software and translate that knowledge into clear, effective customer education. 

What you’ll do

You'll jump into this role to quickly learn the eimmigration platform so you can translate complex workflows into simple, actionable customer education. 

Your day-to-day focus will be on creating, managing, and optimizing the end-to-end training experience for customers. 

Training content creation

  • Create and maintain written and video customer-facing content, including guides, emails, help articles, how-to videos, and walkthroughs.
  • Design and implement in-app product tooltips, flows, and checklists using Userpilot. 
  • Ensure all content meets a high standard of clarity, tone, and grammatical accuracy.

Training implementation

  • Build and maintain onboarding and training workflows across tools. 
  • Ensure customers are enrolled in the right training at the right time through automated and scalable systems.
  • Track training completion, engagement, and drop-off points across cohorts.

Training optimization

  • Partner with SMEs to develop and refine training content and certification programs. 
  • Identify training gaps that lead to confusion, support tickets, or churn—and solve them through better systems or content.
  • Continuously improve training programs based on data, feedback, and observed customer behavior.

Your skills & experience

  • 2+ years in Training, Enablement, Customer Education, or Operations within a SaaS environment (required)
  • Proven ability to quickly learn, master, and teach software products
  • An excellent writer with strong grammar skills and the ability to make complex ideas simple, clear, and easy to follow
  • Comfortable creating both written and video-based training content
  • A systems builder who enjoys creating structured workflows and scalable processes
  • Highly detail-oriented to catch what others miss, especially in content and user experience
  • Comfortable learning and working across multiple tools quickly with minimal guidance
  • Execution-focused—you ship, iterate, and improve based on results
  • Data-aware—you care about outcomes like completion rates, engagement, and adoption

  • Reduced support tickets tied to “how do I…” questions
  • Always up-to-date written and video content that customers actually use and understand
  • Scalable systems and workflows that reduce manual effort
  • Strong correlation between training engagement and retention/adoption

  • HubSpot (Knowledge base, CMS, segmentation, automation, communication workflows) 
  • Userpilot (in-app flows, onboarding guidance, adoption experiences)
  • Training platforms (academy, video libraries, certifications)

Annual Compensation: $65 to $80K
